Certificate of Need "CON" Approved on 2/24/2021. This was 3 months ahead of schedule. We appreciate the State of Tennessee's rapid review of this.
Post CON approval, we constantly worked with contractors to ensure that the facility is updated with modern furniture, fixtures, and finished installing a state of the art CT-Scanner, and X-Ray Machine.
Once the hospital had been updated we worked with the division of facilities to issue a hospital license.
We are recruiting locals residents of Haywood County and the surrounding area to care for their neighbors through job fairs and networking. We will have jobs in administration, customer service, accounting, supply chain, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, nursing, medical assistants, physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, and more.
We're contracting with every insurance carrier so that we can serve all health insurance subscribers in Haywood County.
On 1/2/2022 we held a Dedication Ceremony for the first permanently closed hospital to ever reopen in the great state of Tennessee. In August, 2022, the doors will open kicking off phase one's Rural Health Clinic, Haywood County Medical Group.
